Intriguing

I listened to this book and absolutely loved the narrator Hayden Bishop as she's beautifully brought Adele Rose to life.

Adele has a simple life, she dresses like the woman of bygones era, she works in an antique shop in which she's a partner too. She's lives with her father and has a great life.

Until a single key unlocks something that she never could have fathomed.

Everything changes from the time Adele realises that she can touch and see the past, be in those moments through that person's memories.
She's not only a psychic but also has a hidden legacy that leaves her shocked when she finds out about it.

It was really intriguing to see her gift and how special it was.

In her quest to find answers, she reaches out to return the locket she's found only she didn't know how that would set events into motion but through that gain friends for a lifetime.

The squad was so cool. Gem, Stowe, Noah and even the Cold one, Jameson. I loved their friendship oh so much with Adele and how they genuinely cared about each other.

The Collectors are one that the psychics fear as they are known to cross any boundaries just to get one in their hire. So they keep their gifts hidden until, Adele finds herself somehow entangled into danger.

The twists in this one are sneaky revealed to us in moments that leave you wanting for more.
I'm surprised to say that for being a "clean" Book, I didn't really feel like we were missing out on chemistry.

But that ending... It was both shocking and devastating and I can't wait to start the next book. ♥️
