John Chatty's voice is full of lyric movement, and his performance adds much to the poetry of Stevenson's language - and much to the personalities of pirates. This is the kind of tale that needs to be heard out loud. Chatty allows the listener to imagine she is at the very seaside bar where the book's narrator, Jim Hawkins, first heard the tales told here.
