About this listen
Turn a Blind Eye is the third instalment in the gripping story of Detective Inspector William Warwick, by the master storyteller and Sunday Times number one best-selling author of the Clifton Chronicles.
William Warwick, now a Detective Inspector, is tasked with a dangerous new line of work, to go undercover and expose crime of another kind: corruption at the heart of the Metropolitan Police Force. His team is focused on following Detective Jerry Summers, a young officer whose lifestyle appears to exceed his income. But as a personal relationship develops with a member of William’s team, it threatens to compromise the whole investigation.
Meanwhile, a notorious drug baron goes on trial, with the prosecution case led by William’s father and sister. And William’s wife Beth, now a mother to twins, renews an old acquaintance who appears to have turned over a new leaf, or has she?
As the undercover officers start to draw the threads together, William realises that the corruption may go deeper still, and more of his colleagues than he first thought might be willing to turn a blind eye.

And it's a hatrick!
It's 3 on 3 for Archer & William Warrick! Turn a Blind Eye is a page-turner with twists at the most unexpected moments. I stayed up nights listening & reluctantly switched off only to go back to it the first chance I got. As usual, the court scenes are the best & as we've come to expect from the author, this one ends in a cliffhanger. Can't wait for No. 4!

Warwick’s deal Rashid
BW emerges strong contender to deal with for Warwick family. Summers gets an expanded role. William Warwick takes a passenger seat for most part but takes the next step. George Blagden once again delivers wonderful narration

Exceptionally Impressive Reading
An exciting installment in the third of the Warwick Chronicles by the master storyteller Jeffrey Archer. In this nail-biting edition, newly-promoted DI William Warwick is assigned an undercover operation of investigating and exposing a corruption racket within the Metropolitan Police force. The plot is immaculately intertwined with characters from the previous editions - the art crook (from book #1) and drug baron (from book #2). The court proceedings in the trial of the drug tycoon with the arguments and cross-examination of witnesses by the crown and defense are impeccable with numerous twists and turns in the way. Finally, the relentless pursuit by William and his instinctive presence of mind at the right moment enables him to weed out the corrupt officers in the force. The book not only demonstrates the work-life equilibrium of William but also the close-knit family bonding. It is strongly recommended to read the first two books in the series to comprehend the various characters, their background, and their associations with the plot, as this book begins straight from where the second book ends. Overall a fast-paced and captivating read for Jeffrey Archer buffs. Eagerly awaiting the next one in the series to see how William Warwick performs in his new position.

Not exciting enough
This is a book where you can predict almost every next move. Lacks originality.

Expected twists yet nicely done
Great story, not a amazing thriller but good enough. Narrative is good, at times narrator sounds irritating for the multiple voice change & modulation but still does a good job.
