Publisher's Summary

A no-nonsense and helpful guide on how to cope with a slew of mental-health issues that are hell-bent on ruining the lives of millions of people worldwide

Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in.

With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately to the non-emergencies of everyday life, and to deal effectively with old, or newly acquired, traumas (particularly post-traumatic stress disorder).

Best book to understand your brain

Loved it, the content is superb, it makes me understand how my brain functions and how can I manage my emotions.
The use of F word is little disturbing for me but overall it's a awakening experience.

Can't recommend, too many cuss words

The book does have a good story, and is well written for most people to understand

But the constant cuss words, just constant continuity of cuss words, what a truly tragic end for what could be a great book

It was helpful, but I cannot recommend it to anyone In my family or friends, it's just has too much cuss words

This book is in lines of the anime "Seven Deadly Sins", great stories great characters , but constant perverted action of the main character, destroyed the overall theme, no one in thier right mind will recommended it, just like this book, the content is great, but the constant cussed words destroyed it all

Could have been better

Nothing new, same old information which you can get from the internet. Neither interesting narrative.

An above average listen

The book majorly focuses on various mental illness problems. The one thing missing over here is that at some parts in the book, there is no clarity on how to get over a certain mental illness. Apart from that it is a nice informative listen.

A writing style unseen in literary world.

This book hits you like a truck. It is a book with so much rants and cursing, that you forget it is a book. Kudos to publisher for going ahead with this rant and publishing it as a book. Book is full of F word. I lost my courage in first chapter itself with flood of F words, that I immediately got motivated. Great Job.
