    हा संसार दुःखं रूप आहे असे सर्व संतांचे सांगणे आहे . पण या दुःखाचे मूळ भगवंताच्या विस्मरणात आणि पर्यायाने जन्म होण्यात आहे . जीव या जगात येताना किती कष्ट सोसून येतो व हे दुष्टचक्र कसे पुढे चालू राहते हे या समासात श्री समर्थांनी सांगितले आहे . हे सत्य ओळखून लवकरात लवकर भगवत्प्राप्ती करावी व जन्म मृत्युच्या या चक्रातून मुक्त व्हावे हीच संतांची तळमळ आपल्यासाठी असते .

    म्हणूनच "मृत्यूचे स्मरण असावे | हरिभक्तीस सदर व्हावे ||"
