Thrilled to welcome a post-rock/prog musician, Rory Friers onto the show. He plays in the band And So I Watch You From Afar and hails from Ireland. A lot of cool and unique things going on with his band and music so I had to bug him while he was over here in the US on tour with Caspian. We got into the Ireland scene, his work in scoring music for films as well as his advice on where I should start with prog-rock. A good "bloke" as they say overseas and hope you enjoy!

Very proud to welcome the first OSCAR winner on the podcast in the form of Cord Jefferson. He is the director/writer of the film American Fiction which won the award for "Best Adapted Screenplay" and when I saw him in a Propagandhi shirt, I HAD to have him on the podcast. Man, I love my job. I get to bring you these great discussions with people who are creating some incredible art and today, we have a big one. Duane Denison is the guitarist from noise rock pioneers, The Jesus Lizard. They are back with a newly released LP and aren't shying away from being the charming weirdos they are. Duane and I discuss the concept of selling out, getting a scholarship for playing guitar (!) and working in a library. Duane is very open and honest in his approach to music and he brought that same spirit to our discussion.
