  • One of the most effective habits to nurture as a solopreneur is the ability to develop, launch and gain the benefit from a project or idea within a 30-day period.

Often I find that solopreneurs tend to work on too many projects at once, which means they complete a little bit on lots of things every week. This approach is understandable since there is so much to be done when you’re running a business on your own! However, it’s a perfect recipe for becoming frustrated because it can be hard to appreciate the results of your hard work if it takes too long to finish a project or task. Instead my recommendation is to develop a process in your business to help you take key projects or tasks from idea to completion within 30 days or less. This might seem impossible to you at first, but with some planning and forethought you’ll be surprised at how doable it becomes!

Not only is this a smart way to manage your business as a solopreneur, it can help you get more done quickly. Listen to this podcast for advice on specific (but common) project types that lend themselves to this approach, and how to carry out a 30-day project sprint!
