He addresses the necessity of being on guard against fleshly attitudes and behaviors, while simultaneously cultivating Spirit enabled attitudes and behaviors. We have to walk with humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance and love, while refusing to walk in pride, harshness, impatience, intolerance and hatred. We must reject enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, and rather intentionally relate to one another with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.

If you’ve been adopted in the God’s Family you shouldn’t live like a rebel against His will. Our life and practice is to be consistent with our identity in the Family of God. In this sermon Pastor David explains that believers should not continue to live in the sin from which they were rescued. Instead Christians should live in a way that is consistent with what God has done for us. Our life and doctrine should match. We should walk worthy with one another in humility, gentleness, patience, forbearance and love.
