• Thanksgiving heals deprivation of the soul
    Dec 30 2022

What do we do in times when distractions of this world hinder us from communicating with God? What happens with our relationship with Him? The gift of thanking God offers a new perspective of soul restoration that fills our hunger for God in our lives. Thanking God does not simply include gratitude but connection, repentance, and surrender to the living Father. This episode highlights a personal testimony of a time when reading the Bible was hindered by many worldly distractions and how thanking God through the Bible's power filled my thirst for God as I missed Him and His presence. If you wish to experience the same restoration as I had, read Psalm 65, interpret it the way God asks you to interpret it, and see how it applies or how you can apply it in your lives.

  • Sanctify yourselves to be one with God's Identity
    Dec 20 2022

What does it mean to be sanctified in today's world? How do we become one with God when the world loves sin and hates the light that Christ freely gives? Sanctifying yourself doesn't just mean being holy and acting as such, but being one with God by sacrificing the sin that holds you and Him apart. In a world where we are forced to indulge in sin, even by those that call themselves "The Church" when they tolerate sin, only one thing could save us and make us truly children of God: God's unmerited grace. The 29th chapter of 2 Chronicles helps us understand what it means to be sanctified and how we ought to treat the home of God in His presence.

  • Where are you: Are you eating food and wine or vegetables and water? (Daniel Chapter 1)
    Dec 18 2022

Those who ate vegetables and water "looked and were in better health than any of the boys who had eaten the food and wine from the royal table." (Daniel 1:15)

Where are you? Jesus asks that question not just because He's asking (He knows where you are) but because He wants you to reflect. Are you preoccupied with the distractions of this world that can't seem to fulfill you, or are you indulging in the word of God as the vegetables and water that we all need to eat daily? God uses the first chapter of Daniel to show us the importance and cause-and-effect relationship reading His word and doing otherwise has in our spiritual walk with Him. Let us all reflect on what we are eating and see if it helps us engage more in our relationship with God.
