Hey and welcome to Digital Discussions UNFILTERED, my names Lorna Scully & I’ll be your host throughout every single show on this podcast. I thought I’d put together a short introduction about what you can expect to hear on the podcast & also thought it’d be good to give you a little introduction in to who I am and why on earth you'd want to listen to me!

Does the term Digital Marketing just freak you out? It doesn't have to be as difficult as some 'gurus' make it out to be. In this episode we cover the top level question 'What IS digital marketing?' and also dive in to two or three things to consider when you're starting to think about how to market your business online. I also touch on what a digital marketing strategy is as it's a term that can be quite overwhelming. Let's keep things REAAAAL simple, shall we? Plus, you'll get an insight in to episode number 2!

Does the thought of having to chose one person, or small group of people to aim your marketing towards put you off doing it? You want to sell as much as possible too whoever will buy right?!

It doesn't have to be daunting! I've out together a different approach of working out who your target audience are. Remember, it's not set in stone and you're not saying you'll refuse anyone outside of this group. But you should be aiming your marketing at 'someone'. If you're trying to talk to everyone - you're talking to no one.
