  • Summary

  • The Temperance Hall on Napier Street has been a performance venue for most of its history. In the 1990s it was known as Napier Street Theatre and ran as a venue for hire. Here we present a fun parody of the well-known musical, Phantom of the Opera, in celebration of the shenanigans which went on there. It was inspired by a story about the day when a sewing machine was plugged in and blew a fuse, leaving the venue in total blackout.
