Last week I shared a story from my early teen years where a panic attack landed me in the hospital and what the ER physician said had stuck with me for the better part of my teen years. I also talked about how gym class in high school sucked because we had to change in front of other girls and I was so self conscious of my image that I absolutely hated gym class. I didn’t mind the physical activity, just having to change in front of other girls lol. This week I would like to focus on my life in college specifically through the years of 2016-2019. I would also like to throw a trigger warning out there. I will be talking about grief, harming myself, and unaliving thoughts.
As mentioned in the episode, since I have talked about such heavy things, I want to include the National Suicide Prevention Hotline in the description. They now have a 3 digit number that you can dial, which is 988. You can call them or send them a text according to their website. You can also visit their website and chat with them on there, https://988lifeline.org/
If you are struggling with unaliving thoughts or desires, please reach out to someone. Whether it's the hotline or somebody you personally know. You are loved, you are beautiful, you have purpose, and you matter. I am so glad you are here!
