This is the sermon delivered by Rev. Don Van Antwerpen to the congregation of the Unfinished Community on October 6,, 2024.

Today's sermon is drawn from Genesis 2:18-24 and Mark 10:2-16, and involves some very deliberate re-evaluating of some of the frankly ridiculous ways in which we have interpreted the Bible over generations. Is woman meant to be subservient to man, or is she a straight-up improvement? Does God have IT training, since the divine solution to an annoying arrogance was to turn the whole man off and back on again? And what about divorce; what in God's name is up with Jesus' sudden pivot to right-wing talking points and quiverful-adjacent BS? Listen in, and find out!
