Georges reste un chien un peu vagabond, qui traîne partout. Et notamment dans la forêt, où il s'est lié d'amitié avec une famille de chevreuils, au désespoir du garde-chasse, un monsieur désagréable et puant qui veut faire du mal à Georges. Aujourd'hui, c'est justement l'ouverture de la chasse, et Georges fait son possible pour sauver ses amis les chevreuils et les protéger des horribles chasseurs et de leurs chiens désagréables. Heureusement, Georges peut toujours lui aussi compter sur ses amis pour l'aider.

Georges est un jeune chien qui vit à la campagne, au milieu d'un haras. Pas un petit chien, mais un de ces grands beaucerons qui effraient à tort les gens. Pourtant, Georges est un gentil chien qui aime tout le monde, particulièrement ELLE, sa maitresse, et Lola sa voisine, Beauceron comme lui. Aujourd'hui, c'est l'anniversaire de Georges, alors il parcourt son domaine, entre les chevaux, les moutons et les chèvres. Il a décidé de jouer une blague en se cachant à l'extérieur.

Georges voit débarquer chez sa maîtresse des gendarmes qui l'accusent, lui, le plus gentil Beauceron du village d'avoir attaqué et égorgé des moutons. Il parvient à s'échapper, mais sa copine Pepsie, la chienne du voisin, celle dont le travail est justement de protéger les moutons, est amenée au chenil pour faire des tests. Qu'à cela ne tienne, Georges se jette dans l'aventure. Comment les deux chiens pourront-ils regagner la confiance de leurs maîtres ?

Georges a beau être un grand chien, il n'en a pas moins peur de certains événements, comme la tempête ! Il a un peu de bravoure quand il décide d'aller voir sa copine Pepsie à la bergerie, mais le spectacle qu'il découvre est terrible : la bergerie est détruite et le troupeau dispersé. N'écoutant que son cœur, il aide Pepsie à rassembler et protéger le troupeau. La tempête est-elle le plus grand danger qu'il vont devoir affronter ?

La copine de Georges, la belle Lola, vient d'avoir des chiots. Parmi ceux-ci, il y en a un qui est plus dissipé et fugueur que les autres, c'est Prince. Georges lui rappelle gentiment que c'est lui le mâle dominant, et que le petit ferait bien d'être plus sage. Quand Prince fugue à nouveau, Georges se met à sa recherche. Le flair d'un chien, on sait bien que c'est infaillible. Sauf que Prince n'est pas allé n'importe où : il s'est réfugié dans un cirque. Voilà qui promet à Georges de nouvelles aventures et des péripéties.
