My name's Elle. Princess Arielle, for those who know about my past. Cursed by my own father, now I'm banished to Grimm. I'm a siren, killer, and one of the best damned cold-case detectives in all of the bloody realms. I don't stop until I discover the truth. My next case sends me to Wonderland, a harrowing place of madness and dark secrets. I'd rather be landlocked than step foot on that tainted soil, but I don't have a choice after discovering Alice's bloodstained ribbon and a bandicoot's claw covered in blood beside two stiffs at the Charmings' castle.

Hook is back. Or at least that's what my partner, the Mad Hatter, aka Maddox, claims. And I should totally believe him. He does have the sight after all. But I can't. I just won't. Because Hook...he was my world. And the day he died in my arms, I nearly died too. It's taken me forever to get to a good place again, and that's why I won't go looking for him. I won't go searching for a ghost. Besides, I have a case. Crow shifters. Bank heists. And lots and lots of stolen goodies. Just what I need to keep my mind off of Hook.

Never should have been the end of my problems. I should be back on Grimm. With Hook. Hating Crowley. And working alongside my partner, the Hatter. But life rarely turns out how I expect. The Sea Witch, and oh, incidentally my mother, has told me I'm a witch. Not just any witch either, but one of the biggest bad. I wouldn't believe her, except I can do magick now. Unfortunately, I can't do enough to escape the predicament I'm in. Hook's dead. Crowley's dead. And I'm alone in a realm that hates my guts. And there has been a murder. My sister's, Aquata's. The realm blames me.
