The Serendipitous Curse

In the heart of Savannah, Georgia, lies Solomon Brandt Plantation, a spanking piece of suburban sprawl with a sordid past. When an amnesiac bearing this cursed name stumbles into town, he’s immediately drawn to the haunted antebellum and also to a Hoodoo practitioner who converses with spirits—and to her gorgeous green-eyed niece, Desiree McClinton. A descendant of the Brandt slaves, Desiree sparks emotions in Solomon—the likes of which he’s never known.

Being haunted in Savannah, Georgia, one of America's most haunted cities, takes on an entirely new meaning when Solomon and Desiree find themselves caught in a war between good and evil. Chilling discoveries await the couple summoned to Bonaventure Cemetery. Three angels disguised as the ghosts of Hoodoo priestesses are responsible for Solomon's reawakening. But, unfortunately, they're also the ones who murdered him more than a century ago.

Solomon is on a desperate quest to free his beloved, Desiree, from her icy prison in the darkest reaches of the Outerworld. Armed with his crystal shard of light, the sliver of black mirror that the witch Madeline Jacobs pulled Desiree through, and the key to a fabled unholy shrine in this world of darkness, Solomon departs modern-day Savannah on his final journey. Together, the star-crossed lovers escape Madeline’s minions through frozen hells to another world, in some ways even more terrible: Savannah, Georgia, during the American Civil War.
