Un démon va néanmoins vite les détromper. Malin, fort et intelligent comme seuls les démons savent parfois l'être, il va tranquillement les décimer les uns après les autres. À une exception près. Un des membres des Hunters reste en effet introuvable, et non des moindres : le "Bourbon Kid".

D'un côté, le "Bourbon Kid", tenant du titre de tueur en série le plus impitoyable et le plus mystérieux que la terre ait jamais porté. De l'autre, avec plus d'une centaine de victimes à son actif, l'Iroquois, blouson de cuir rouge, masque d'Halloween surmonté d'une crête, challenger et sérieux prétendant au titre. Le combat s'annonce terrible. Dans les coulisses : une organisation gouvernementale américaine spécialisée dans les opérations fantômes, une nonne, un sosie d'Elvis, quelques Hells Angels et une cible de choix pour nos psychopathes frénétiques : le pape, en voyage secret aux États-Unis.
