Suomalaisen yritysjohtajan amerikkalainen unelma - ja sen karu kääntöpuoli. Syyskuussa 2009 yritysjohtaja Tapani Koivunen istui lentokoneessa matkalla Chicagosta Oklahomaan. Kone oli U. S. Marshalin, ja Koivusen ranteita hiersivät käsiraudat. Kaikki sai alkunsa vuosituhannen alussa, kun Koivunen halusi rakentaa elintarviketeollisuusyrityksen Viroon. Hanke kaatui ahneuteen, kun amerikkalaiset yhtiökumppanit kavalsivat yrityksen varat. Heidän rikoksensa johdosta yhtiön toimitusjohtaja Koivunen pidätettiin Chicagon lentokentällä.

I juli 2014 fick Sven Erik Nordin beskedet att han hade en aggressiv form av cancer i underlivet. Samtidigt fick han veta att hans enda chans att överleva var att genomgå en omfattande operation som bland annat innebär att hela penis skulle avlägsnas. Efter en kort betänketid bestämde sig Sven Erik för att inte följa läkarens råd och tackade nej till behandling. I stället började han febrilt leta efter alternativa metoder som kunde bota honom. I dag är han friskförklarad!

Åtta år efter karriärens slut diagnostiserades Klas Ingesson med en benmärgscancer som han redan från första dagen visste skulle bli hans död. Det är bara lite cancer. Man kan råka ut för en godartad (benign) eller elakartad (malign) tumör och symtomen är ungefär de samma för båda sorterna. 2011 fick mamman och projektledaren Åsa Tönne diagnosen 'malign hjärntumör.' Hela hennes liv rasade samman och en envis kamp mot klockan och sjukdomen startade.
