I'm Casey Wilson, a high school teacher with northern roots who married a southern gentleman. I am powered on by coffee, entertained and inspired by our youth, tickled by my ability to survive in the south, a lover of converse shoes, and completely and utterly obsessed with the idea that if I read enough Fitzgerald and use a typewriter that I will somehow morph into him and begin writing with as eloquently as he did.
My greatest accomplishment to date is teaching my cat, Jemma, how to give me noggins (you know, like Crush does to Squirt in Finding Nemo), and I'm slowly learning how to be a dog mom to our 6 month old German Shorthaired Pointer, Oakley.
Hank the Tank is my first children's book, and I am so excited to continue writing.
