He is a two time winner of the Ultimate Bizarro Showdown and the cocreator of the magazine Imperial Youth Review. Garrett also works as a freelance editor and is available to work on manuscripts of any length. His book Time Pimp is the winner of the 2013 Wonderland Book Award for Best Collection and his story "Beast With Two Backs" received an Honorable Mention from Ellen Datlow. He is the editor of 2015's New Bizarro Author Series from Eraserhead Press.
