Hannah Mary McKinnon was born in the UK, grew up in Switzerland and moved to Canada in 2010. After a successful career in recruitment, she quit the corporate world in favour of writing. While her debut, TIME AFTER TIME, was a rom com, she transitioned to the dark side thereafter. Her suspense novels include THE NEIGHBORS, and bestsellers HER SECRET SON, SISTER DEAR, YOU WILL REMEMBER ME, NEVER COMING HOME and THE REVENGE LIST. Her eighth is a holiday romantic comedy, THE CHRISTMAS WAGER, written under the pseudonym Holly Cassidy.
Hannah Mary's latest thriller, ONLY ONE SURVIVES, about the rise and violent demise of the all-female pop rock group The Bittersweet published in July 2024. Her second Holly Cassidy rom-com, THE CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN, will release in October 2024. Another thriller will follow in the fall of 2025.
