But here is the briefest version of my bio if this is all you have time for: Arriving in New York City from London's Fleet Street where she was an investigative reporter on the London Evening News, Joanna Elm landed a job as a writer on WNEW-TV's 10 O'Clock News. She was the writer/researcher for WNEW's Emmy-award winning documentary, Irish Eyes, before moving to the tabloid, Star Magazine as a reporter, then becoming its news editor. Subsequently, she worked as a producer on the tabloid TV news magazines, A Current Affair and A Current Affair Extra. After she moved with her husband, Joe, and son, Daniel, to Palm Beach County in the early 1990s, she fulfilled a childhood dream of completing her first novel, Scandal which best-selling author, Nelson DeMille described as "fresh, original and unpredictable." A second novel, Delusion was published the following year. Both novels were Hudson Books bestsellers in airports across the U.S. Her third novel, Fool Her Once was released on March 1, 2022 by CamCat Books. Between her first forays into writing fiction and her latest novel, Elm graduated law school summa cum laude, passed the New York Bar exam and worked as a judicial clerk in the prestigious First Department, Appellate Division of New York State's Supreme Court in Manhattan.
