Ken Baker is a noted writer, business consultant and former professional hockey player. Baker has published nine books, including three memoirs and several novels. His debut book, "Man Made: A Memoir of My Body," tells the story of his battle with a brain tumor that had inhibited him throughout much of his young adult life and was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Man Made served as the inspiration for the Netflix comedy "The Late Bloomer." Baker followed up his first work of literary non-fiction with another memoir, "They Don't Play Hockey in Heaven," the story of his improbable comeback from retirement to become the oldest rookie in pro hockey. Throughout a journalism career spanning newspapers, magazines, online and television, Baker continued to publish numerous award-winning and critically acclaimed books. His collaboration with former Olympic figure skater Scott Hamilton, "The Great Eight," stands as one of the sport's most inspiring books of all time. Baker's candid tale of his pursuit of meaning in his mid-life, "The Ken Commandments: My Search for God in Hollywood," led him ultimately to make the transformational career move to focus on helping businesses and individuals throughout the world achieve their personal and professional goals.
