Lynn McLaughlin is a best-selling and award-winning author, host of the podcast, "Taking the Helm", a professional speaker and advocate. She has spent her life devoted to ensuring each of us meets our full potential. Mother of three grown children, she currently lives with her husband in southern Ontario. Lynn is now passionate about sharing her journey of fear and survival during a life crisis. Her first book, "Steering Through It" has become the catalyst for her work in advocacy today. On her podcast, "Taking the Helm", Lynn speaks with change agents who have taken a crisis and embraced the opportunity to open new doors in their lives and business. Through her book, "Jackson", Lynn is raising awareness of mental health within families. From demons and desperation to love and hope, a mother and son's bond is tested by the challenges of mental illness. Lynn is proud of the children's book series entitled, "The Power of Thought" which she has co-authored with her niece, Amber Raymond. The first book launched in the spring of 2022 with four more books expected within the year.
