Maike Maja Nowak, born in 1961, lives in Prignitz in Brandenburg and in Sweden. She is a naturopath and trauma therapist, writer and ambassador from dog to human. She wrote the four bestsellers: »Vanja and the Wild Dogs«, »Adventure Trust«, »Dances with the Dog« and »How Much Human Needs a Dog« She publishes/ed many specialist articles and had her own program on ZDF in 2013/14 entitled "The Dog Whisperer". In 2012 she founded the Association of Independent Pioneers and works internationally as an author, seminar leader and speaker. Her latest book is called »Without Guilt - The Whole Story« In September 2023 her book »The Dog as a Mirror of Man - Gentle Paths to Trauma Healing« will be published, in which she describes her trauma therapy work with people and her personal path to get there.
