Mary-Anne O'Connor is the best-selling author of Gallipoli Street, Worth Fighting For, War Flower, In A Great Southern Land, Where Fortune Lies, Sisters of Freedom and Dressed By Iris, all part of Australia's explosive cultural upheaval during the 19th-20th century. O'Connor is also a marketing expert, freelance writer and keynote speaker / lecturer. She is an advocate for the Hornsby Kuringai Women's Shelter and actively supports women in crisis.
