Mike Cromwell is a distinguished commercial contractor based in Louisville, Kentucky, with a career spanning over three decades. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, Mike began his journey in the construction industry by remodeling homes, eventually transitioning to building houses. In 1992, he made the significant leap into commercial contracting, where he has thrived ever since. His success in this field has allowed him to provide a comfortable life for his beloved family, whom he cherishes deeply. Mike’s life is rooted in the vibrant city of Louisville, Kentucky, which he proudly calls home. He holds a profound affection for Louisville, considering it an excellent city for raising a family and building a successful career. His contributions to the community extend beyond his professional achievements, as he is also a proud grandfather to two grandchildren, Kyler and Allison, the children of his daughter Tiffany and her husband, David. His youngest daughter, Cristy, remains unmarried and shares a close bond with her father, earning the endearing title of “daddy’s girl.” The family has always been at the heart of Mike’s life. He was married for 38 years to his first wife, with whom he had three beautiful children: two daughters, Tiffany and Cristy, and one son, Shaun Michael Cromwell. Tragedy struck the family in 1998 when Shaun passed away unexpectedly from bacterial meningitis on 30 March, leaving an indelible mark on their lives. However, hope was restored when Cristy was born on 26 July, of the same year, bringing light back into their world. Mike’s mother, Goldie, aged 87, resides in an assisted living complex. The challenges and injustices he faced during a difficult period in 2022 and 2023 motivated him to write a book as part of his healing journey. Through his writing, Mike aims to reflect on the tragic events in his personal life and the injustices within the justice system, striving to bring about significant change. A proud and dignified man, Mike Cromwell’s story is one of resilience, love, and dedication to his family and city. Through his book, he hopes to inspire others and contribute to the transformation of the justice system, leaving a lasting impact on his community.
