Natascia Mallin is a Jewish Italian American writer who has been keeping journals and diaries since the age of seven. After getting a degree in psychology and ethnic studies at Mills College in Oakland, CA, she joined a cult and abandoned her daily practice of writing in an attempt to “erase her personal history”. Four mind-numbing years later, Mallin broke ties with the cult leader and began writing again as an experiment to see how much of her past she could still remember. Her literary debut, The First 50 is the result of that experiment. Mallin was born and raised on the Westside of Los Angeles. Unsurprisingly, she is also an actor. However, like most actors in L.A. you’ve probably never heard of anything she’s been in.
