Nathan's first poetry collection, Threads—a collaboration with photographer Justin David, is published by Inkandescent and was longlisted for the Polari First Book Prize. His second, CNUT, is published in November 2019. His poems have also been published in anthologies by Manchester Metropolitan University (A Change of Climate) and Civic Leicester (Bollocks to Brexit). Nathan is also a theatre and film maker. Shows include SwanSong (And What Festival, also published by Inkandescent), Foreign Affairs (Voila Festival), I Love You But We Only Have Fourteen Minutes To Save The Earth (Soho Theatre), Puppetry of the Pops (Drill Hall), Atomic (Latitude Festival) and Guerrilla Gardening (Pleasance), VauxhallVille (Royal Vauxhall Tavern), Theatre of Therapy (Chelsea Theatre) and We’re Not in Kansas Any More (Royal Festival Hall). Films include Curtains (Flare Film Festival), Rock ‘n’ Roll Suicide (Lo-Budget Award, London Short Film Festival), Meeting Mr Crisp (toured nationally with BFI, internationally with British Council), The Significant Death of Quentin Crisp (Channel 4) and You Made Me Love You (BFI Mediatheque). As director, he’s worked on Breaking the Silence (Arcola), Femme Fatale (Wilton’s), The Novice Detective (Contact), Monsters (Leicester Square Theatre). As performer, he’s worked at venues including Roundhouse, Traverse, ICA, BAC, Little Angel, Unity Theatre, Tron, Arches, Green Room, Junction, Stratford Circus, Artsadmin, Artsdepot, Komedia, Hoxton Hall, Wonderground, Bestival, Glastonbury and Aldeburgh festivals. He was also part of Duckie's Olivier award-winning C’est Barbican. He’s been principle oboe with London Gay Symphony Orchestra for over twenty years, studied Fine Art at Oxford University and now lives/works in London.
