Captivating and unique
The story was captivating, but I had great expectations after reading "The Housemaid". It was good, though, with a lot of twists. Spoiler Alert: I did not understand why Eve was still with Nate when she knew the kind of a person he was. Also, how was her having an affair fair when his affair was not?

Manipulator's Game & Twisted Morality !
A masterclass in manipulation, preying on the vulnerable and twisting morality to fit desires. The story gripped me so completely, I devoured it in a single sitting. The narration perfectly complements the tale. Highly recommended for those who savor slow-building, dramatic domestic crime narratives.

The twist!!
OMG!! it really blow my mind..At first I was anticipating everything from the killer to motives but I never ever think about that... I really got goosebumps (in a creepy way ofcourse) when she sings that same poem...
And for the "Hudson" maaann!!! my jaw dropped from the shock.. 🫨

OH MY LORD
The book felt a little slow at first but BOYYY THE ENDING. YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IT. I hate how quickly it all ends but that is Freida for y’all, I loved the book in general. I still can’t believe the ending. It was so twisted and literally made me listen to the last few chapters again and again.

Every thing was going good until the end
Liked the book a lot however the ending quite messed it up. Ending seems like it was finished in a hurry and timelines did not make sense at all. Good one time read

Brings the subject of grooming and abuse into a bigger conversation
The book took forever to build ip. The over dramatised narration of the female characters, made them all end up sounding similar. A good storyline, could have been a lot tighter.
