Kayla Lockhart is a professional fly fisherwoman and Backcountry Partner whose journey to the outdoor community certainly took some unexpected turns. Fishing served as a beacon of stability during her childhood in foster care, and adulthood presented her with unique opportunities that ultimately allowed her to chase her fly fishing dream.
