The Mother Wit Podcast

Written by: Tanya Tringali
  • Summary

  • The Mother Wit Podcast is a show about the issues health care consumers and providers face every day as we interact with the medical system. We’ll talk about its blindspots and shortcomings, and share strategies that we can use to feel seen and heard, no matter which side of the table we sit on.Featuring intimate stories of people navigating the healthcare system throughout the perinatal period (preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood) and the most thoughtful and innovative leaders in perinatal healthcare including midwives, nurse practitioners, International Board Certified Lactation Consultants, physical therapists, mental health specialists, fitness professionals, and birth workers of all stripes. My sincere hope is to build a strong and resilient community of consumers and healthcare providers, a place where we can come together to listen and learn from each other, to share our struggles and successes, and empower each other to envision and develop the kind of care we all deserve.
