Ein wichtiger Zeuge wird tot aus der Nordsee geborgen. Auf Föhr wird eine Leiche vom Meer angespült. Bei dem Toten handelt es sich um den Strandkorbwärter Jonte Roeloffs. Er wird seit Tagen von der Polizei als Zeuge im Mordfall einer jungen Frau gesucht. Staatsanwalt Broder Jacobsen und Kriminalhauptkommissar Thies Hansen vermuten einen Zusammenhang und nehmen die Ermittlungen auf.

Eine unbekannte Tote auf Föhr gibt der Polizei Rätsel auf. Am Strand von Wyk feiern die Menschen um ein großes Osterfeuer - bis sie inmitten der Flammen eine Leiche entdecken. Wer die Tote ist, scheint niemand auf Föhr zu wissen. Für die Ermittlungen reisen Staatsanwalt Broder Jacobsen und Kriminalhauptkommissar Thies Hansen vom Festland an. Bei den Ermittlungen stößt er auf Ungereimtheiten und begegnet seiner Jugendliebe Lina wieder.
