Publisher's Summary

Have you been struggling to stay fit your entire life? Tried every fad diet, supplement and health tip, only to lose both money and sanity? Tired of fitness lies and quick fixes and want a solution that actually works? Then this book is for you!

There are three types of people: First, those who stay fit and healthy; second, those who want to but have realized it’s easier said than done; and third, those who eat all they want, for you live only once. This book is for people across all these categories.

The biggest threat to a fitter world is not lifestyle ailments such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease but online fitness and well-being ‘influencers’ who spread misinformation and myths about what you should eat and how you should exercise. Some say carbs are the enemy while others blame fats. Others will tell you that cardio is the best exercise for losing weight. They promote everything from fad diets to supplements and they make it appear so difficult that being healthy and getting fit seems like an impossible dream.

The solution is actually quite easy! Eat only as much as your body needs and stay physically active. Yes, it’s that simple!

Renowned fitness entrepreneur Jitendra Chouksey (better known as JC) brings to you a system of nutrition and exercise that is:

  • Easy to understand and follow
  • Based on the latest scientific research

He has helped more than 2,00,000 people lose fat, look good and get into the best shape of their lives! You’ll find many of these stories and much more in this book. Welcome to a new life of health and fitness where ‘diet’ is no longer a four-letter word! Follow the Fittr community on Facebook (@Fittrwithsquats) and Instagram (@fittrwithsquats).

Good book, bad narration.

I quite liked the book for its scientific, no-nonsense information. The narrator completely put me off, though. It was quite evident that he was struggling with a few medical terms and the names of hormones and such.

Very nice

When you said "Celebrity Mega Star and her overpaid fitness expert" I think I know who you're talking about 😉.
KK and RD?

Informative book with terrible narration

The book contains great information in a concise manner. The info is backed with peer reviewed research. That's great.

However, the narration is terrible. The narrator strangely pronounces common scientific terms (e.g., names of amino acids or common elements) and that throws you off. Also, the narrator has a strange accent where he is crealy Indian with a great pronunciation, but pronounces Indian terms (Hathayoga or chicken tikka masala) with a foreign accent. Why???

Excellent Book, Stodgy Narration.

The content was excellent and an eye-opener - a solemn reminder of the old adage "No pain, no gain". No quick fixes; no fad diets; no nonsense!

On the other hand, the narration was very monotonous and drab due to which I couldn't listen to the book for over 15-20 minutes at a time. This was further aggravated by ridiculous pronunciation of several words.

Good book which is helpful from Indian perspective

Good book with solid points and helped debunk the myths being promoted be celebrity dietitians. The narration needs more work. While the diction is clear, I did not like that it sounded more like how kids are made to read in a classroom, instead what would have been better would be to have a more narrative style, with the voice modulations and a bit more personality. It needs to be an experience for the listener as a lot of details mentioned in this book invoke strong emotions for anyone who has been struggling to loose weight.

Great book though and I like that the seller did not promote any hip thing to eat unlike many health gurus out there

This book really gives a very good and scientific advise towards fitness. I have transformed myself completely after listening to this book. Emphasis on weight training over cardio etc was really good and timely!
