About this listen
There's a reason We Are Legion (We Are Bob) was named Audible's Best Science Fiction Book of 2016: Its irresistibly irreverent wit! Bob Johansson has just sold his software company for a small fortune and is looking forward to a life of leisure. The first item on his to-do list: Spending his newfound windfall. On an urge to splurge, he signs up to have his head cryogenically preserved in case of death. Then he gets himself killed crossing the street. Waking up 117 years later, Bob discovers his mind has been uploaded into a sentient space probe with the ability to replicate itself. Bob and his clones are on a mission to find new homes for humanity and boldly go where no Bob has gone before.
Dennis E. Taylor’s hilarious novel sets the stage for the magnificent performance of Ray Porter, who revels in the brave new world of corpsicles, artificial intelligence, interstellar space probes, and space colonization in tantalizing detail.
We Are Legion (We Are Bob) is the first installment in the blockbuster Audible Original Bobiverse series - which has sold more than one million copies.

Story
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

Story
When an experiment to study quantum uncertainty goes spectacularly wrong, physics student Bill Rustad and his friends find that they have accidentally created an inter-dimensional portal. They connect to Outland - an alternate Earth with identical geology, but where humans never evolved. The group races to establish control of the portal before the government, the military, or evildoers can take it away. Then everything changes when the Yellowstone supervolcano erupts in an explosion large enough to destroy civilization and kill half the planet.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
We were fighting on the wrong side of a war we couldn't win. And that was the good news. The Ruhar hit us on Columbus Day. There we were, innocently drifting along the cosmos on our little blue marble, like the native Americans in 1492. Over the horizon come ships of a technologically advanced, aggressive culture, and BAM! There go the good old days, when humans only got killed by each other. So, Columbus Day. It fits. When the morning sky twinkled again, this time with Kristang starships jumping in to hammer the Ruhar, we thought we were saved.

OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Very unusual story line. Of course at this time truly in the fiction genre but who knows?

Narration was AMAZING
Picked this up because I was so impressed by Ray Porter's narration of Project Hail Mary and was not disappointed. A fun futuristic space adventure.

Bobiverse is awesome!!
The premise was awesome, i was half expecting it will fall off the cliff but it didn't. by the book ended there is so much happening - intergalactic exploration, star wars, first contact, post apolapytic survival and lot of other things. it's like lot of sci-fi combined into one book, still very enjoyable.
Only thing I didn't like, as Bob multiplies across universe, way too many characters getting introduced and names keep getting ridiculous. The audiobook narration was awesome though, want to get started with the second one right after :)

A fine science fiction story
The description does not do justice to the story or quality. Ignore the summary and jump right into this book. This is one of the best science fiction story I have read/listen. And the way Ray has presented this book, you feel like following a tv series. His voice has increased the enjoyment to next level. I may say that I got more enjoyment listening to this story, than I would have gor from reading it. Highly recommended.

Awesome novel with awesome narration
As you navigate through the pages you could imagine a potential possible future path Humanity would take. All the human elements are still kept intact even after the technology advancements. A great read and looking forward for the next in the sequence

wow!
I have been craving to read a book which showed early colonization days without many aliens and politics.
I was feeling a void after Asimov's Foundation, but Bob fillled the void....
Amazing narration as well.
if you are a sci fi fan, DO NOT miss this one!
